Symposia

Symposia are in-depth research discussions on a common topic, featuring multiple perspectives. They are organized by one or two individuals who invite four presenters and a discussant. When choosing contributors, organizers should aim to include participants from at least two different countries. Organizers submit symposia, which should include abstracts of prospective papers (no more than 200 words each) and a summary (no more than 400 words) that ties the papers together. Papers from a symposium may also be considered for individual presentations if the symposium is not included in the final program.
Symposia last for one hour and a half, with each speaker given 15 minutes, the discussant also 15 minutes, and an additional 15 minutes for audience discussion, moderated by the chairperson.

Paper Presentations

Paper presentations are oral presentations that highlight original research. Submissions should clearly describe the research conducted and the results achieved in an abstract of no more than 200 words. By recommendation from the scientific committee, paper proposals can be suggested to be presented as posters.
Each paper presentation is organized into sessions comprising four papers, each moderated by a chairperson. The chairperson is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of the session, including ensuring adherence to the allotted 15-minute time limit for each presenter, and facilitating a meaningful 5-minute discussion period. Attendees have the option to switch between parallel sessions during this discussion time, thus it is essential for all sessions to strictly conform to the 15 + 5-minute presentation format.

Posters

Posters serve as a visual representation of research findings. Submissions should succinctly convey the research conducted and the results achieved, with an abstract of no more than 200 words. In the conference program, posters will be organized by theme and presented by the first author in a 4-minute overview, followed by a 2-minute discussion. A designated group of discussants will also provide commentary on the set of graphical communications.
Posters are grouped thematically and presented during lunch breaks in sessions lasting one hour. To ensure a cohesive display, presenters should prepare their posters to the A0 standard size (841mm width x 1189mm height, portrait orientation) and are expected to affix them on the morning of the scheduled poster session. Conference staff members will provide materials and assistance with display setup.

Submissions until May 12th 2023, 19:00 (CET)
