Biography
Steve Graham is a renowned professor of education at Arizona State University, specializing in writing instruction and educational psychology. His research focuses on writing development, writing instruction, and the learning challenges faced by students with disabilities. Graham has made significant contributions to understanding how to teach writing effectively and how to support students who struggle with writing. His work is characterized by its empirical rigor and practical application, integrating insights from psychology, education, and special education.
Graham earned his doctorate in Special Education from the University of Kansas. His early research focused on the cognitive processes involved in writing and the challenges faced by students with learning disabilities.
