We provide practical support with reading, writing and employability, while also creating welcoming spaces where people can reconnect with others and take part in positive community activity.

Main goals: We are an independent charity dedicated to giving children, young people, and adults with the literacy skills they need to succeed.
Actions or activities: We support schools and teachers with training, resources and programmes, we work collaboratively with whole communities with our National Literacy Trust Hub model, we campaign to make literacy a national priority, as well as conduct research that underpins all our work.

Activities:
Development of quality guidelines and evidence-based materials; organisation of symposia, seminars, and webinars; expert talks on current topics; collaboration with educational authorities, ministries, and school psychology services; and public outreach (e.g. media contributions) to raise awareness and promote effective support for children with learning difficulties (including dyslexia and dyscalculia).
